Bounty

A bounty is a prize collected for eliminating another entrant, run as a distinct tournament format under a casino's posted tournament rules.

Entrants pay a bounty fee on top of the buy-in and entry fee; the amount is fixed and published beforehand. Each registrant receives a value chip equal to that bounty, which must stay visible on the table. Knocking a player out transfers that player's bounty chip to the winner. A player may collect several bounties during an event but forfeits only one on being eliminated.
