ICM deal calculator
Convert final-table chip stacks into a dollar equity estimate for a deal, using the Independent Chip Model (ICM, the Malmuth-Harville method). Enter each remaining player's stack and the payouts for the places still being played for.

Methodology
ICM converts a chip stack into an estimated finishing-position probability distribution, then into expected prize money against the payouts entered. It assumes all remaining players play with comparable skill, so stack size alone drives the estimate.
- Every player's chance of finishing 1st is proportional to their share of the chips still in play.
- The chance of finishing 2nd, 3rd, etc. is computed recursively: removing the chips of players already placed and repeating the 1st-place calculation on who remains.
- A player's equity is the sum, across every paid place, of the probability of reaching it times that place's payout.
- Up to 6 players and 3 paid places are supported; unused player slots (stack 0) are treated as not in the deal.
This calculator computes raw ICM equity from the stacks and payout amounts entered — it assumes all players have comparable skill and does not deduct any prize money already guaranteed before the deal, a common real-world adjustment left out here. It is a mathematical estimate, not advice on whether to accept a deal, and never a guarantee of what a deal will actually pay.
